Skate & Create
Westfield Chermside was seeking a creative way to engage and entertain children during the 2014 school holidays. Media Playground delivered a rebellious experience. We transformed a part of Westfield Chermside into Skate + Create; a creative space for kids to develop their skills in skateboarding and street art. Over 18 days Westfield Chermside ran workshops and welcomed local artists such as Gemma O’Brian and Numskull, and Pro-skater Mikey Mendoza. The campaign won Best Activation at any Westfield in Australia and New Zealand for the 2014 Awards.
